Any ideas how we might get there?

There used to be a way to "drop" in to Ghostlands/Eversong Woods during Hallow's End using a mage to blink through the edge of the map at Netherstorm & mount a broomstick IIRC

Not sure if this is still feasible, or something like it with a druid for instant flight...

Alternatively, control flightpaths used to be a thing (was never actually sure how to do this)

I've tried the obvious, swimming towards the barrier....

Any ideas anyone? Or does anyone know a way?

This is high-level stuff. TBC classic is the legion client so many, possibly all, the old ways are fixed.

Control flight path hasn't been a thing in a while.

One thing I haven't tried is polymorph.

I suspect the explorers know, but I also suspect they aren't telling.

They have the "No Man's Land" buff once you enter the area and port you to Shattrath. Outlands also had this during prepatch, but it would port you back to Blasted Lands.

You can't do much on the island without completing the phase quests, which are unobtainable, so it's only enemy NPCs there. You also can't enter the dungeon or raid there, it will tell you "this dungeon is not available to players yet". You can't learn the flight path either, it will tell you "this taxi service is unavailable."

So really nothing interesting on Isle of Quel'Danas apart from mobs and ore/herbs.
