[coding] how to navigate in BGs?

I have successfully created a pixel-based bot that works fine in the open-world, but it does not work on BGs and dungeons as LUA function to get player position do not work in those environments. How do I manage that to create a bot?

p.s. Im willing to share code freely as long as I got it done.

What language did you write your bot in? I am in the same position myself. My bot works great, until I enter a BG lol. I don't want to read the memory, so trying to find a way to do this through the API. I've tried using libraries, and getting unit id from a BG for myself, and getting the location, etc.. Nothing has worked yet. If you figure it out I'd love to know, and if I figure it out, I'll definitely let you know here.
