    WmoEditor - Enhance your WMO

    Hi everybody

As the tile says I'm working on a WMO editor, It is still in the development progress but as one of the most requested features is already finished: Adding M2-models to the doodad sets. Though everything is quite experimental and sometimes unstable. Also certain user interface things might be useless or unintuitive but thats because its still under development.

Quick explanation how it works so you can test it:
    1. Open the editor, it loads from the path in the registry and opens up a default WMO

    2. Go to WMO List and select the WMO you'd like to edit (double click)

    3. Explore, hide groups or switch between doodad sets

    4. Enter a path to a m2-model in the box (you can press the ... button and a window pops up with all models (may take a few seconds to load, its not yet finished) and when you double click on a model its pasted in the box.

    5. Select the doodad set (bottom list box) where you'd like to add the m2-model

    6. Press Place and move the mouse to the spot where the model should be place.

    7. Use the keys x, y, c to rotate along the axis (+ shift to rotate in the other direction) and numpad + or numpad - to scale the model.

    8. Press the left mouse button to place the model or the middle mouse button to discard the current model

    9. File -> Save and you are good to go

Viewing works from 1.0 to 5.2, editing is tested for 3.3.5 but should work from 1.0 to 5.2 as well.

The version 2 i added prints more information if there is an error in the application (there are still a lot i guess). And you are able to modify existing doodads. You can select them with the mouse and the move and rotate/scale them as newly placed ones and when you are finished you can save it by pressing the middle mouse button.

So does this mean that Sharpwow's broken WMO handling code can be fixed? In any case, this looks wonderful, an it's about time we had an editor for WMO's

edit: the WMO's are still flipped. Weirdness ensues :/

@Akspa: I solved the problem with rotation, but here i did not apply it yet

@Karaweriusz: Maybe, yes, it uses WPF which has to be manually installed on versions before Vista (i guess you need XP SP 3 or something like that)

For features: Most of what you wrote is already planned, i think editing the vertices might be able in a limited form but as there is a tool convertig models from/to 3ds i think the guys from autodesk do a much better job on 3D-editing software than i do (hey, they get paid for it, so it would be bad if not )

Uploaded a new version, most changes are usability:
    - It uses now .NET 4.0 and not .NET 4.5, if you still get problems launching the application make sure youve got it installed and have the redistributable of DirectX installed.
    - MPQs are no longer opened read/write but read only (allows you to open them somewhere else)
    - Models are placed using CTRL + V at the point the mouse hovers the model (if it doesnt hover the model, it aint placed, dont worry, it wont be in infinity or something like that)
    - Movement changed:
    - x, y, c with SHIFT remain for rotation
    - Models no longer follow the mouse
    - Click the model, hold SHIFT, CTRL or ALT for the 3 axis and move the mouse horizontally -> the object moves. You can combine the keys to let it move simultaneously on 2 or 3 axis.

I need to update the instructions in the first post, but thatll come later.

Looks like you're missing Stormlib.dll in the wmoedit directory.
