[Guide] How to texture in Noggit.
Well, I was bored today, and I figured I would finally post a
guide on how to texture in noggit, Or atleast, the way I texture in noggit.
This is not exactly a noob friendly guide, Its more for people that know a little
about noggit. But with a little work any one can figure it out
Well, First, Start out with a blank adt that you want to build something on

Once you have picked out your adt, I like to start with the mountains
first, so I switch to the raise\lower tool, set my selection to flat.
I then set my scale to around 30, but you can make the mountains as big as you want. It's all a personal choice.

From this step, I switch to flatten\blur and set my selection to linear.
I also change my scale to around 15-20, depending on the type of mountains you want to make. I then smooth out the edges of my mountain to be:

Once I finish smoothing out the mountians, I move my radius down to around 7-10 depending on the amount of detail you want on your mountian, from here, I make little ledges on the side of the mountian:

After I add the ledges to the mountain, I color them all one color using Ctrl-Click in the noggit paint menu, so it
removes all the textures on that chunk. I then paint it with the solid base color. I usually use a dirt texture for this part.

Once I've colored the whole mountain a solid color, I add the mountain texture on the vertical sides of the mountain. Make sure
not to texture the top of the ledges you made a few steps ago, Once your done, It should look something like this:

Once your done with that, Pick out a simple grass texture of your choice, open the paint menu ("U") move the pressure slider down to
about 45, and the radius as small as it goes. Now this is the hard part, I cant teach you how to texture, your going to have to develop
your own style. I personally like to make small circles, and never go over the same part twice. It's.. hard to explain. Experiment with different
styles until you get a result that your happy with. Once you figure out a good texture style, texture the top of the ledges on your mountain with
your grass texture:

Once you have the tops of the ledges textured, using the same grass texture, texture above and below your mountain. Example:

That's pretty much it. Just fill out the textures, and add small details, and your done
. Spawn some stuff using loadinfo.exe and fileinfo.exe
and your good to go with a custom zone of your own.
