need help with the MEF

I downloaded the 2.3.3 fix, put it in the right folder, and downloaded the edits into my data folder. Open wow with the MEF, press F8 at the login screen, and NONE of the edits will ever show up....Can someone please help me?

Edit the cfg file to include the edits MPQ name per line.

I don't really get what you're saying...theres a folder named wowme.cgf but i cant open it

Its not a folder, open it with notepad and it should be blank. So for the first custom patch put patch-1.mpq or whatever the name is, hit enter and type the next MPQ name if there is one.

Well, i dont want to edit models, just allow me to use them...dont really know how that would help

Your not editing models, this is how to use them...

I opened it with notepade, typed

patch-5.mpq
patch-6.mpq
patch-7.mpq

didnt change anything..thats the files names

Save the edit as wowme.cfg NOT wowme.cfg.txt and then try your edits.

Are you trying to use it on the PTR?

It won't work on the ptr, you could have it set up perfectly, the fix will launch the game, but the game would still ignore your mpq's.
