[Help]How to get feathers on my raptor mount

I have currently been model editing my Back pvp mechano strider to a pvp black raptor, but I can't get the feathers to show on the edit, only some orange dots flying where the feathers should be, would be sweet if any1 could give me some help with what I should do to get the feathers there.
