So these skins are only visible to you? Not to those around you?
yeah, you can consider it like a part of your custom interface XD
What I was wondering is, do you get a warning prior to getting banned if you're using model editing for let's say, changing the Undead models to look like those in the Chinese version, without bones, and Blizzard detects you?
Very useful thread, should get a sticky as it really clears alot of threads away which would intend to ask about this. Thanks!
First time poster, relatively new reader.
I was wondering about Race Swaps and PvP; to be specific, swapping say an Undead Warrior to a Tauren Warrior.
Reason I ask is that Taurens have a larger swing range than other races. It's quite beneficial for Warriors.
Would switching my Undead warrior to a Tauren warrior also give the benefit of this extra swing range? If so, this could be a pretty obvious model swap and therefore bannable.
Any thoughts?
Where are you getting your information. No.
I asked a GM directly. Whoever they were said that the use of skins was fine. I have also have screenshots of our whole conversation. =}
Yeha, i feel a lot better too
So basicaly I COULD use it to make my guy look different but if i go off show boating i get caught. Sounds fair. Nice
My WoW just crached and when I started it again i got a message that WoW had found WoWMEFIX forgot to take a SS of it. I just closed it asap when I read that it had found it and removed my mods and the MEfix from WoW. Nothing have happend yet and I dont think anything will happen, but if you get this message I would remove my MEfix and the MPQ files in the Data folder.
After having a discussion with a GM, which resulted in:
I deleted all WowME crap just to be sure until a new undetected one comes out
There is a undectected one, stop posting your screenshot, no one cares and it has been discussed to hell and back.
Delete scan.dll and enjoy the old one or get the new undetected version.
