    Warsong Gulch Map [REQUEST]

    I'm wondering if anyone could help me acquire the map for warsong gulch. I've been trying to use various wow tools and exporters to get the map but I've only been able to export all the doodads and models and not the actual terrain.

    I have no intention of actually editing the map, what I plan to do with the map is upload it to sketchfab.com so that it can be viewed in 3D/VR. This is just a small side project of mine, I'd love to be able to fly through wsg in VR and I've already sunk way too much time into trying to get it to work.

    I have the adt/wmo importer plugins for both blender and 3ds max and have lengthy experience with 3ds max but I can't seem to get the terrain files to export from the exporter.

    WSG = pvpzone03

    If I can get wsg uploaded to sketchfab it will be available for anyone to view but not download.

    1. Download the machinima tool + slimdx
    Download - MachinimaDev: Your Machinima Tools - Machinima Studio

    2.download cataclysm 4.3.4 , warmane has a client that works with this
    Warmane | Download

    3.When exporting the adt to jpg/png files make sure to check batch export so it exports all the maps files of WSG

    4.Use world machine or some other software to stitch together all the heightmap + textures into 1 map

    Hey thanks for the follow-up, I did eventually figure it all out and get it working.

    What method did you use? I'm currently trying to figure out the same thing but with wotlk maps. Wrath maps seem to be incompatible with machinima studio.

    I used Marlam's exporter I think it's called in conjunction with the blender .adt import plugin. Once imported to blender with all the appropriate meta data, I export as fbx and import to 3ds max where I finish up any material tweaking etc.
