First question people, what program do I open the file once I've downloaded, an example is the human to night elf model, what program do I open it with?

And my second question is where do I put the files?

used winrar to extract the files, get it here: WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files
then you extract it in your wow data folder

This may be a bit nooby, but it says the archive is either unknown format or is damaged, I downloaded it from here MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Dawn assumed ur .mpq was in rar format, thats why it said that. Put the mpq in your /data folder in WoW directory. Then make sure u run http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-edit-fix.html and use the most up to date version of it (the model edit fix)
