How to change the hand of an unsheated weapon

I followed a guide today to change my xbow animation to the Bow animation with hex editor, but now my char is holding the bow in hes right hand, wich is normally the hand to pull back the string of the bow.

Now im wondering if its possible to change the hand a weapon is held unsheated, i know you can change the sheath but that does not apply when the weapon is being used.

actually the problem is that Xbow is right handed weapon while Bow is left handed one. i believe u have to completely use something like 3d max for fixing this like using common bow model base and so on
