[QUESTION] Noob at model editing =P

Hello MMowned. I am having a bit of a trouble finding out what programs you need to have to start your basic model edit. I have already got Adobe Photoshop CS4. And i was wondering if anyone could post a couple links to videos or programs that may help me with my situation.:confused:

I have seen Glitchey's studio, it looks pretty impressive, but I don't really want to make my edits that way =P. So, can someone please post a couple links with the programs/videos that may help me.

Also, please forgive me if this question have been posted before and/or someone has already posted the answer to someone else's thread.
