Race to race model edit = Crash

Whenever i try to model change, either downloading custom MPQ files or trying with glitchys model edit,
wow crashes as soon as i log in, im using the newest wowme and i do press f8 at the login screen.
Im using vista, can that be the problem?
I would really appreciate some help with this issue since i don't want to be stuck with my gnome
    +Rep for any useful help

I think the new version of WoWME doesn't require F8 pushed at login screen, instead you start wow with the WoWME.exe file. I've never had to push it.

Sure you're download the newest one?

Also make sure you drop the WoWME into your wow directory.
