Reskining with photoshop

When ever i am trying to reskin something.

finding the thing in MWS and convert it and open it in photoshop it allways comes as

Use another converter. Do not use MWCS' "save image". Do not use pirated software. Learn about setting up your workspace in Photoshop.

if "extract file to" + BLP converter does not work,try MWCS' "save image" function, in the upper left corner of the BLP-Viewer included in mwcs, which will save the pic as a tga file.

Photoshop can open and edit tga files aswell. Just be sure to save it as "png" again, when you are finished with editing, and then just convert it back to blp via converter.

No, no, no... Just extract the blp by right-clicking it in MWCS, and choosing "Extract File To...", then use Technetium BLP or BLP Converter 5 to convert it (use BLP Converter 5 for paletted BLP's {some character textures}). It WILL work, so no need to try that other crap.
