    [question]adding land and naruto mod

    Hello guys and a happy new year,


    i want to make a modification of WoW that is pretty much like the Anime/Manga Naruto...
    if some1 wants to help me (and i need alot ) pm me or add me @ icq, 288512334

    Hello, if you wan't to make the game looks like anime/mango, you have two possibilities :
    -> You can change all textures of the game with a image editor (I remember that i've heard about a mass image editor : using the same filter automaticaly on a great number of images)
    -> or you can change the game rendering engine (good luck ) but this way is very complicated I thing, but if you can get through it, you could add a cell-shading in the rendering engine and this way, you wouldn't have to change any textures.

    You can't modify the shaders, as there's a signature file for them (just like there is for the main interface lua). Trust me, I've tried... Of course, if one was willing to write a bypass for the signature check, then it would be more than possible, especially if you run WoW in OpenGL mode (the OpenGL shaders are ABRvp1 and ABRvf1, which is pure text, and a few headers)

    hm it seems to me that the offset to the shader-signature check isn't that easy to find like it was for the main interface. Perhaps I'll have a closer look somewhenelse(or wait if the Projekt Bigwill0208 talked from is real)

    lol, that bigwill guy posted a thread on here asking people for naruto models, so I highly doubt he's got anything.
