Which would be better to create custom models for WoW for a inexperienced user?

I would suggest maya for beginners 3Dmax is can be very confusing, and will take some experimenting on the side before using it for your custom models.
As soon as I can find the video dl links for a tutorial about 3Dmax I'll link the links. every time i try to copy and paste the links i get a database error well i'll try and do it tommorow..
