How would I edit this mpq? And is it even possible?

I love the model, but whenever I kill something, there's this odd little animation of a skull and crossbones appearing over my head and some swirly stuff flying into me.

I love the swirly stuff (I think) but I detest the skull and xbones. Is there anyway I can get rid of this? What programs will I need?

I don't want some indepth thing. Just someone to point me in the right direction. I'd like to try and do this myself.

By the way, love the forums. Learned up to this point without having to post. Thanks a bunch.

Nevermind. Turns out it was from a quest I was doing. Tried killing stuff in normal cat form and got the same animation. Lol.
