[question] does wep edits need mef to run without error?

well in 2.4 my game went wrong due to edits my own fualt so scince then havnt used any and now im sick of looking at my old mage again so simple question does wepeon edits need mef to run (cant test atm due to comp messing me around)

It depends how you do them. Simple wdb edits do not need the MEF, but if you make a patch for the weapon edit then it does need the MEF.

Alright kid, Open your eyes and read what theblackmage said, if you Model Edit with WDB, then you don't need MEF, if you edit with MPQ, you do.. It's been done mainly with MPQ's so WDB editing is pretty new as a common practice.

That is as simple as it gets.
