    itemcache.wdb--Mac?

    I've tried a fiew itemcache edits today, none of which work.
    -The file has the quicktime logo, is it the wrong file format?
    -If it is the wrong format, how do I convert it (I just downloaded links)?
    -Am I doing something wrong? I download the itemcachce.wdb, move mine to another folder, put the new one in, and start WoW. No models are changed.

    EDIT: If itemcache editing is not possible on a mac, I would greatly appreciate two weapon swaps.

    a) S1 mainhand sword-> warglaive
    b) S2 offhand sword-> warglaive

    I'll rep

    It's possible, if I was better at it i'd do one for you.. otherwise I just use MPQ edits. (I changed the Sheath positions on my dual wielded 2H'd swords to my back since they're originally 1H axes.. That's the extent of my WDB editing, but I do know how. Heh)

    I'll edit this with the MPQ edits until you get a WDB edit.

    EDIT: Forgot to mention, it won't work because the swords share the same .blp texture, so you'd have 1 warglaive facing the wrong way. At least with an MPQ edit. I'll try to do a WDB if I can remember all those guides I read earlier today, haha.

    lol, not exactly worried about which way one of them faces.

    EDIT: also, any idea why the other wdb edits didn't work?

    Dunno, but if you wanna upload your Itemcache I have the edit ready. Just have to change your cache, will take 2 minutes.

    Here's the file, changed the glad weapons to the warglaives.

    Http://patch.hoctor.com/Downloads/itemcache.wdb

    Hope you're happy with it

    I also changed it so they should be sheathed on your back.

    cache changes are possible in a mac: you need a hex editor to do it:
    0xed
    then just use a guide to find how to change the cache
