[Help] Missing model not allowing patch to install....

The source data for a patch file could not be located. (Patch: "base\CHARACTER\Skeleton\Female\SkeletonFemale.m2". Output: "CHARACTER\Skeleton\Female\SkeletonFemale.m2".) (CopyPatchConverter::Repack)

thats the error I'm getting when I try to install a patch.. and I'm guessing its because of a model edit I did? or I don't know but does anybody know how to fix this?

it's obviously missing a skeletonfemale.m2 model but how would I go about adding the file/skin ?

I'm guessing you didn't take the model edits out of your folder when you installed the new patch. You can try deleting the new patch and reinstalling it, however you might have to reinstall World of Warcraft completely.

what do you mean deleting the new patch? because 2.4 won't even install..

I'm trying to save reinstalling wow as the very last option, isn't there any other way?

Let me try uploading that .m2 files and you can add it to your .MPQ. I'm not sure if it will work.

    1) Get My Warcraft Studio, should be a download in the Model Editing Guides and programs.

    2) Open it up and click Edit MPQ Archive and select common.mpq

    3) When its done loading select the .m2 file I sent you (you do this by clicking the ... and navigating to it). Select the name in the white box and paste the path I sent you over it.

I also found the skeletonfemale.m2 in the Patch.MPQ. You might also want to try replacing it there too. If that doesn't work I'm afraid you will have to reinstall World of Warcraft.

First select the file i sent you with the "..." and navigate to it. It will come up as FemaleSkeleton.m2 (or something like that). You are now using the right file. Now just copy and paste CHARACTERSkeletonFemaleSkeletonFemale.m2 over the femaleskeleton.m2. This will save the .m2 to the right location.

    Lol.
Put in WoW classic first. Get a snack, watch t.v. or surf the web. It will take a while. Then put in your BC disk. Then get the new patches. Don't forget to remove you patches when updating in the future.
