Workin' like a charm for me. 45 runs so far I average 2 mins 30 secs per run (all the way in and all the way out) so about 10-13 mins to do all 5 runs to get instance capp'd.

Ha, I was skeptic about this at first, but I gave it a try after 5 runs I had a hang of it, on the 7th run with disbelief about the mount dropping, it dropped! Good luck to the rest.

I got it finally, though had to kill baron nearly 500 times in wotlk.. :P

That's the side-effect of the edit, just disable it when you're finished. I've used your edit before adren4lin, it's great.

u cannot open wow "normal" if the MPQ is in your data folder..

To make model edits work, you need Model Edit Fix for your current warcraft version, (assuming you have 3.0.9) just search the forums for Model Edit Fix and you should find it.

The chance of a gm banning you is not that big but (as of rumor) they can check to see your log and could see that you killed Baron without killing the ziggurat bosses.

I farmed him 60+ times using XYZ to hack under then hack up when im under the boss and no GM talked to me. So i would say its safe

27 runs so far and counting. Easily done all 5 runs in like 15minutes. Tho annoyis me that cant do instances with alts or so meanwhile waiting for the 1hour cooldown

edit: 55runs, nothing.

edit2: 95runs, nothing besides around 300 shards.

Worked perfectly

Save the .MPQ as patch-X.MPQ (x being any 1 digit number greater than 2) in your WorldofWarcraft/data folder.

Run WoWME Wotlk Fix
Run into strat
You'll start swimming, go down.
Follow the path (you can mount up)
You'll start moving up in the room before baron's zig
Run straight into baron's room, ignore the aboms.
Kill baron, loot, run back out to the gauntlet.
Again you'll start swimming- go down and mount and run back to the start of the path
