    Transporter Malfunction as model edit.

    I got this idea when I was running about in durotar doing nothing special.
    This dude runs past me with the "Transporter Malfunction" debuff, so I'm wondering if it's possible to use it as modelediting your character ?
    And it would still change to new models whenever you stealth/change stance etc. Would be really cool tbh.

    So, does anyone know if it's possible ? The models would be perfect as well.

    I think it's a debuff you get from a gnomish or whateverish teleporter and it changes your model...I'm not sure though, none of my chars have engineering.

    The debuff hes talking about changes your characters race into another for 1 hour after your transporter fails. But wouldn't that be the same as a model edit?

    It just changes your model. (Like in the good rogue's pvp vid xD)
    So making a simple race swap would be much easier.

    How do you mean by "Using it as Model Change"? making it stay as a single race all the time or what?

    yea, im not sure where you are going with this... If you do a race->creature swap, and you get that debuff, and u turn into that race, you will appear as the creature but i dont see the point, just switch your own race...

    yeah you get it when you try and teleport to area 52 and you get a random debuff like the the good twin debuff or the bad twin debuff and of course my favorite the transporter malfunction but i dont think it will work because its a debuff not a model but i was never good at model editing so i could be wrong

    btw it lasts 1 hour

    he seems to be talking about editing the spell to change the model randomly whenever you do any form of aura or stance change.... the issue is there is that spell scripts are ultimately controlled on the server side. so in effect i'd have to say no you couldn't.

    Is it possible or not to use it as a modelchange on your character ? What's so hard to understand with this ? I don't see the problem with the it...

    To make this very simple for you i'm gonna explain what I mean step by step:

    1: Make an .MPQ file of this debuff (spell or w/e it is) to use as an modeledit (like any other modeleit)
    2. Use it as any other modeledit.
    3. Still too hard to understand ? ._.

    If you have seen the debuff (Transporter Malfunction - Spells - World of Warcraft) you know that the model it changes into would be perfect (no texture errors or anything like that).

    Do you understand now ?

    No im not talking about changing the spell itself, im talking about using the spell. Like any other .MPQ modeledit.
