[Collection] Exploration patches of various locations

I've been trying to get versions of WoW from before v0.5.3 for ages now, contacting various devs involved with WoW at that time, to no avail. There's a few videos of the ECTS 2001 reveal of WoW that show a much earlier form of the game, likely pre-alpha, possibly without any version numbering system in use. There's also v0.6, which I've had no luck in finding, which bridged the gap between the Dec. 2003 alpha leak and the early public betas. There's patch notes available, so I know such a version and client existed, but whether or not it's still on the internet remains to be seen.

I must say thanks to everyone that's collaborating these patches - in the past, I have explored the WotLK F&F files using 3.3.5, but it's certainly nice to see the files being shared in a user-friendly sort of way.

+7 rep to Nyarly for sharing this information (and of course for crediting the proper sources).

This sort of a large-scale sharing will piss off many in other communities... but clearly this will allow a fresh crop of new explorers to discover World of Warcraft model editing and exploration. That sort of an influx of new blood excites me. It is why we share in the first place.

How much experience do you have with VX2's MD5 & SIG remover? Everytime I try to load my swapped Outlands (went from 5.2 outlands to alpha), it tells me that It can't 'read'. Know what to do?

And about that, i added the updated version of old outlands f&f from reznik.

I should have a shitton of alpha/beta clients & servers to add soon (stuck at 99.9% on the torrent) but i'll need 19go on my ftp..

It's below the deathline so the camera will be locked far above the ground :/
To counter that, Reznik recorded his video with Wow machina tools, to get better a control of the camera. Sadly, there aren't any WMT release for 4.0.6, i experienced the same thing and tried with a WMT release for 3.3.5 but it got me a nice Bluescreen.
You should try with a 4.1 client and a proper WMT release Or wait for someone to raise the ground, i don't have enough knowledge for that but i think andros was working on it !
