Night Elf Druid Reskins

This project is retired. I have a new druid project though, which you can check out here ([Release][1.12.1] Cohesive Druid Forms)

I may reupload this reskin pack, but I'd rather revamp it and include it as part of my newer project linked above.


I'll post more pictures of closeups and action shots etc. as my energy and your enthusiasm merit.

(I'd like to emphasize that this type of game modification is quite safe to use; it does not use model edits or swaps; therefore, the likelihood of being mistaken for a hack or exploit is presumably minuscule)

It does! What doesn't work, or what is hard to get working, are model edits; this pack edits only textures using WoW's cache, which, incidentally, is outside the jurisdiction of the ToU as far as I can tell.

So do things like gear editing and the such still work, or is that also under model edits..

dasde, sorry, I'm not going to be swapping models with this pack. I will, however, definitely consider requests and critiques relating to my current forms. Like, "hey the green bear is too dark, I think you should lighten it a bit" --that kind of thing.

vanillaX98, have you downloaded it yet? there's an info file which provides more detailed instructions:

Place SoundCache-patch-13329.MPQ in <WoW root directory>\Data\Cache

Rename the file to whatever the latest patch number is (e.g. "SoundCache-patch-54321.MPQ"), backup the originals for good measure (both the original file you downloaded from me, and the original file cache you are replacing).

wait do i just go into the folder and throw it in to the cache folder but in that does it go into ADB or WDB folders inside the cache folder so in either of these i put it in enGB folder and it should work (i think its the WBD folder is it?) i dont want to mess it up :/

nice reskin I especially like the reduced snarl on the bear!!!! Too bad you couldn't fix the tail butt scoop!!! Hey vanilla, I'm not sure where your problem is coming from but the info.txt file includes the filepath for the location to place the mpq file. Make sure you are looking at the cache folder within the data folder not the one in the wow root directory.
