    [Preview]A lush Dun Morogh

I'm proud to present a preview of my take on Dun Morogh for
    my earlier thread "Zantas' IF"

There's much left to be done and problem to be fixed, but
I've come far enough to give you 2 screen-shots of what's happened so far.

    Hope people will enjoy ^^

I take that as there's enough trees ^^

I'm gonna cut down on some sneaky snowtrees and
change wmos tomorrow, might fix bridges fences and such then too.

Small stuff like flowers will come later on along with creature swap

and the final version of "Zantas'IF"

Daaa'yhum. (def; the ghettofab way of saying DAMN)
Loving this, I've always liked the Nagrand skybox, and mixing it with a 'Sholozar Basin' theme makes it even more epic. Considering it's a Sholozar themed edit, I'm hoping to see a few mossy boulders. =D

    Keep up the good work.

There's trees from sholazar, but the rest is not and iwll not be from there. Only reason I used them was cause the other "southern" trees sucked big time.

    You're catching me up, huh?
It looks really nice and everything seems to fit perfectly.
I like the way you've mixed Howling Fjord and Scholazar (and Nagrand).

How about showing us some landscape after you've swapped the
NoDXTs? Do you already have buildings done? If not I suggest you
to take a look on DUNGEONS\TEXTURES and swap those Snowy
Dwarf buildings with ones that can be found from Loch Modan.

    Keep it up!

    Pretty epic.

Was this made from scratch or swapping?

It's a mixture of custom building swaping etc.

Xel: I'm scouting building atm, there's a few non dwarven buildings I like to spawn too ^^

More pictures! From what I can see, it looks really nice except for us to really appreciate the aesthetics of what you have built, we'll require some more shots of ground etc.

Great work though, skybox is perfect

Tbh I don't mind the weather effect.

I'm guessing you were aiming for a tropical rainforest look, but the gentle snowflakes and the way the sunlight hits surrounding objects leaves the place with more of a temperate rain-forest feel.

Usually you only see the normal swaps (desert, tropical forest, frozen wasteland) but this one could end up with a lot of character and natural accuracy.

Just goes to show that the real source to a successful model edit lies beneath the water-level on the iceberg.
