Scdk, this model edit is fantastic and I've been using it ever since I found it.

I'm currently using 3ds max 9 to make a similar edit for the human females. But I'm running into alot of issues in... well figuring out how to get the files in and out of the editing program properly. If you made a guide on how you manage this I know I wouldn't be the only one here who would love you for it.

You can get the tool for it on the Darknest Forums under the [Finkle's Skinner - Patches] section.
Thread is called "TP's Hi-Res Model Tool" (without the quotes), and should normally be on the first few pages.

Just a personal tip: copy the program in several folders, so you can have a model export and import setting without having to rewrite it everytime. I have like 7 copies, 2 per model, and one for the possible special effects (shiney skin, model part replacement, etc), even if i don't use that one.

As for your model being glitched, i still don't understand what causes it, as i had the same issue with people with the V1 and V2 aswell. The model is from the 3.2.2 client, so there shouldn't be any issues, and those who have 'em are kinda on their own...

Need you to answer a few questions so i can dig through possible causes.

    1) Are you using WoWME or playing the game without? (afaik, you don't need it anymore)
    2) What client of WoW do you have? Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King?
    3) Also, 3.2.2 alright, but what language version? (check Data folder, there's a subfolder with the name i need, in my case it's called "enUS")
    4) have you any other custom MPQs in your WoW's data folder?
Here's the files that belong there by default:
    1. common.MPQ
    2. common-2.MPQ
    3. expansion.MPQ
    4. lichking.MPQ
    5. patch.MPQ,
    6. patch-2.MPQ

All other files in that order are custom, and a) shouldn't be there when patching your game (as it causes errors later on), b) could interfere with this edit, although shouldn't.
    1) Not using WoWME
    2) WoTLK
    3) enUS
    4) No other files.

After I tried this I reformatted my comp and installed windows 7 and it still doesn't work. (Also re-installed WoW)

So, it is probably something to do with my computer in general. =/

I have also tested every .MPQ file from V3.0 and V3.1.

This kinda sucks because I was really looking forward to this since the V2 one was for a different version.

make sure u rename the MPQ as patch-x where x is a random letter not being used from another patch and make sure the file is a MPQ i used 7-zip converter which worked great

    Download
    download the .zip type version

also this morph works with skins

This tool looks like it should be perfect, but for some reason it isn't accepting the input m2 file I want to give it... do you know whether or not this could be because I'm extracting .M2 as opposed to .m2 files using mywarcraft studio? Hopefully after I figure this little issue out I can get everything working properly. Thanks again

M2 is M2, the tool doesn't care if you use a MPQ tool or MWS.
The whole issue with converting the model is explained in the thread of the tool itself. Read through it.

The only thing i can give you advice on is:
if you use a fresh model, you need to use only one view. And you have to see which view works (export, import, check ingame). If you see the model like a bunch of crap, the view is not the right one. Read the thread for more info about views.
If you use a already modified model, you have to disable the options that reduce to one view and increase detail. Otherwise unexpected results may occur. Ye be warned. XD

Good job scDK, just came across this site while looking for something just like you have, played BE for almost a year, and she was getting a little drab. +Rep

p.s. Is there anyway to make the butt a little bigger? i mean i know they are supposed to be elfs, but jeez, my blood elf's butt is a LOT smaller than mine.

Could you do one with the larger breasts but without the enlarged robes/waist? I like the cape change and breast enlargements, but I liked belfs because they were skinny. Also, if you could make the weapon bigger it'd be fantastic.

Updated main post with (hopefully) 3.3.0 compatible version.
Need testing and feedback on if it works. I appreciate the help.
