Well seeing you choose not to say what you did and why it did not work. Sorry but I do not know because you choose not to say.

When all you have to do it extract the folder and put it in the addons directory

You just down load the addon and place the folder from the zip file into your wow addon folder and done

Once in the link, which one do I use for let's say cataclysm classic or sod?

When I try to extract/unzip any of the files I get an windows error. This is with Winzip or the Windows File Explorer. I have no anti-virus running and windows defender is not doing it.

Hello, first of all, thanks in advance, the addon works perfectly, but the files .lua for Cata are empty, at least for me. it just says: return.
the files are 1kb, Will this be solved?
