+rep, great guide but i am going to offer a small change for some.
My main is a pally, lvl 60. My next highest character is a 14 mage... so as you can see i'm a pally. Love my class and have alot of fun with it.
My build is

Alot of similarities to yours but mine is very flexable. It's awesome in pve and very nice in pvp.
The biggest problem i have found in pve or just basic grinding is mana... mana is a bitch for a pally. A retribution build wants your points in str/sta so you usually don't have much int. So i found it more important to put the 5 points into Benediction and drop the 3 in Vendication and 2 in Eye for an Eye. Also to save on mana i found the 3 points in Sanctified Judment important and got it rather than Divine Purpose.
I also dropped the points in improved sanctuary aura for improved seal of the crusader for the bonus damage from your judment.
I've found gear very unimportant for pve. Most of my gear is still green with the exception of a few scholo/strat/lbrs drops. Very rarely do any 10mans. And i stronly suggest never touching a shield. I to this day have never had one equipped. I find it alot better to find a 2h with some speed. Get the fastest speed you can on your 2h. We don't have burst damage like warriors so slow don't help us. Put a fiery (if your broke) or crusader on this 2h and your set.
I generally start a fight out by making sure i have blessing of might on. I cast seal of crusader and run at mob releasing it and immediatly casting seal of command. Wait out command till your judment is 1 or 2 secs away from cooldown and if your fighting a humanoid cast repentance (will remove you from combat and stun enemy for 4 or 5 secs) if not a humanoid then cast hammer of justice. Once they are stunned then release that judment of command and recast. If you have a chance for another judment then if you were fighting a humanoid cast hammer of justice and judge, if not a humanoid your stuns are still on cooldown so just release and recast.
Your damage DOES NOT come from judments. On average my seal of command crits for about 100-300 more than my judment of command
. But that stun does help dray an extra 100-200 damage on your release so it's good to use it.
Now in pvp you have your options.. either go capture or offense and play the same as you do in pve with the exception of using your hammer of justice asap. Or be like me, i play defense... nothing but, i love making sure nobody touches my flag/territory. I go to my toolbar and set it up as follows... 1: Judment, 2: Seal of Command, 3: Seal of Justice, 4: Hammer of Justice 5: AOE (name slips me atm). I'll usually stand at my flag and cast my AOE every few secs to draw out any stealthed rogues/druids. If i find one or if i have incoming i usually run toward them and cast hammer of justice. Usually they are trying to run and this stops them. I quickly cast and release seal of command which hits them with some instant damage and starts up your auto-attack. Then i cast seal of justice which does nothing more than keep them in place with the stun chance, when your judment cooldown is up, don't release justice, just switch back over to command, release it, switch back to justice.
