Good tip for farming primal air

Ok, at 71,66 in Shadowmoon Valley, behind the Dragonmaw Fortress, there is a good primal air/mana farming spot that is not well known, but I've already posted this, anyways, as a hunter I was farming here, and the air elementals have a nasty hurricane AoE attack, BUT it is channeled, so when this happens, I pull my pet out and start some arrow pwnge with my pet taking no hits and the mob not getting channel broken, alternatly this could be used for warlocks, warriors, rogues, feral druids, priests, anyone really, just back up, ranged attack, or heal/bandage and you're good, this helped me save a lot of money on pet food and a lot of time and mana from ressing my pet.

actually nagrand is so overpopulated on my server that this spot is top notch for primal air. and they seem to have a higher drop rate then the ones on EP. unless ofcourse you mean collecting the primals from the clouds... which i believe requires engineering? not sure, if someone could confirm that would be nice.

but ya, i farmed there for about an hour last night and walked away with about 9 primals and ~50ish gold from the vendor'd trash.

The drop rate at the Elemental Plateau in Nagrand really isn't much better than any other normal place to farm Air Elementals. I don't know why people farm there, because you have to deal with the opposite faction and a pretty small spawn area for the same drop rate as better places.

I personally farm Primal Airs on my hunter South of the Sanctum of the Stars. I farmed 31 primals in one night at the spot

you do need engineering for extracting gas clouds...i use mine in nagrand for air. got about 5 primal air in about 45 mins same with primal shadow in shadowmoon valley

I'm grinding these at the moment after reading your last post about primal grinding, the motes of air aren't that good but motes of mana are dropping like there's no tomorow

I tried this spot out.....first few times i had it all to myself and made 700g over 2 days.....since then there have always been 1 or 2 others there...but it's still a damn good spot
