Highmountain Ritual-Stone 50k/hour
Hello Ownedcore!
The price on Highmountain Ritual-Stone has skyrocked recently! There is high demand and this is a good opportunity to make easy gold.
This weeks archaeology quest requires 6 of Highmountain Ritual-Stone and rewards a epic ilvl 850 neck with 3 sockets.
I'm currently farming an average of 10 Highmountain Ritual-Stones per hour, and they are selling like hot bread. There is a luck factor here and price may vary on server.
What you need to do:
1. Get archaeology
2. Pick up archaeology quest "A New Lead" in Legion Dalaran. Hand in the quest in Thunder Totem in Highmountain.
3. Now farm digsites in Highmountain
4. Sell your Highmountain Ritual-Stone

From 3 digsites i got 2 stones, and they sell for 800g on my realm.
That wouldn't even net me 10k / hour.

Is there a way to consistently get dig sites in highmountain after you run out?

As long as you are on the quest, the digsites should keep respawning. I never tried to farm digsites after completing the quest series, if that could make an end to the respawning.

Sounds good +rep.
They fixed it with the endlessly mining corpses exploit, but you could fill up on whatever stones (weekly zone), not make an artifact, keep mining the same node, and spawn the little archeology critters that drop stuff over and over again. Not sure if that works anymore related to anything new that's out.

Fantastic idea. +7 rep. They are still selling for 2500g a piece on my server. I did this for about an hour, got 11 stones, which means I am getting a stone every 5.5 minutes or so of digging. That's just shy of 30k gold for such little work, especially considering how much Archaeology I still need to do this expansion anyway to stay up on my achievements and rare completions, it is just a win-win.
