Simple but impactful tool for Demon Hunters and Chaos Blades

This has been around for a bit now and as far as I can see nobody on here so here it is.

Step 1: Get a ton of Mastery gear for an off set

Step 2: Put this gear on before a boss pull

Step 3: Pop Chaos Blades

Step 4: Change back to normal gear

Step 5: Profit.

The reason you are doing this is because the Chaos Blade buff, even after you switch out of your mastery gear, stays equivalent to what it would be with your master gear on. This is causing insane amounts of burst damage on DH right now. Intended? Doubtful but I am not sure it is considered an exploit either.

A good example of this is in the recent Serenity DHT +20 World First. You can watch that here Their DH does it on every boss and the burst damage speaks for itself. Obviously he is also insanely geared probably in both his mastery buff set and normal set but this is very impactful at all item levels.

If you plan on doing this in a pug mythic + I suggest telling your tank to do a 2-3 second pull timer so you can switch into mastery gear & pop Chaos Blades than switch back before you are in combat.

Chaos Blade snapshotting has been fun indeed. My alt is a DH so I need to get some better gear but it definitely makes an impact to burst.

This is basically what fury warriors were doing back in cata with death wish and mastery loaded gear. good to know stuff like this still exists
