Per-Class/Spec Legion Leveling Preparation Guide
I've put together a preparation guide for each reasonable leveling spec for each class in the game to help you level as quickly and efficiently as possible. This guide is intended for players who plan on leveling alone without a party, people to help them or anything of the sort - just pure questing. This guide does NOT cover Legion quests or zones, but rather what you should be doing, gathering and buying now to prepare for Legion's release.
At the end of the class section, I've included a number of real life tips I've used for the past expansions to help prepare and stay awake for realm firsts.
Talents listed are for highest up time, mobility, AoE and with less reliance on big cooldowns to be effective, not for highest DPS. Feel free to change them to your preference.
General Items and Abilities:
These are items that every class should have ready.
Of course, you should also have Epic Riding - but who doesn't have that these days? Make sure you have a form of Vendor Mount available, to avoid unnecessary detours for vendoring trash and repairs.
The most cost effective of these is the [Traveler's Tundra Mammoth]. It will cost you as much as 20,000 gold and as little as 16,000 gold at Exalted with the Kirin Tor. This mount will provide you with a place to vendor your trash as well as repair your items.
Miscellaenous Preparations and Addons:
If you haven't already, you will want to complete the pre-patch questline. These will reward you with some nice gloves (that you hopefully didn't vendor), as they will kick ass in Legion while levelling.
Make sure you log out in new Dalaran, or are in new Dalaran when the expansion goes live! That is where it begins.
If you are an addon user, the following addons are incredibly helpful:

TomTom
|
A navigation addon with a waypoint arrow. It's likely that bugged mobs, grind spots or other high-exp locations will be posted on OC and other sites during Legion, and waypoints/locations are often provided.

Download @ Curse

Don't forget to keep an eye on OC's Guide and Exploit sections. If previous expansions are anything to go by, people will be posting guides and leveling exploits quite a lot for the first few days as they are found - or they are choosing to reveal those that weren't fixed in Beta.

Pulling an "All-Nighter":
All this information is based on my own experience, it may not work for you. Just putting it out these for those interested.
It has been said all over the Internet, and I'll say it again. STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD. Seriously, this will just destroy you. Your best bet is to pre-prepare some meals which are light, nutritous and filling. A personal favourite of mine is grilled chicken breast, cucumber, spinach and avacado on wholegrain bread, or skip the bread and make a salad. The tip here is to stick to white/lean meats, salads and fruits, while avoiding red meat, fatty, oily and processed food. You want protien, you want to avoid carbs. Great snacks include bananas, apples and nuts.
A similar principle applies to drinks. Energy drinks will once again just wreck you. If tap water is safe to drink where you live, drink tap water. I'm personally not a fan of coffee at all, but if you want to drink coffee, it's generally a good idea to have two glasses of water for every cup of coffee you drink. Black Tea is my preferred drink, and I drink that in the same proportions to water. When it comes to your beverage of choice, keeping some at your desk is always good, but having to go and fill up your glass in the kitchen is a great way to stretch and get some blood circulation going at the same time.
Speaking of circulation, it's important to take small, regular breaks. Even thirty seconds to one minute walking around your room, stretching your legs and arms is a great way to stay awake and alert, as well as help prevent some of the nasty possible effects associated with sitting for prolonged periods.
Keep in mind that the days of leveling taking extraordinary amounts of time are over, and Realm Firsts are long gone. Most people should be satisfied with an achievement date for Level 110 that shows the Legion release date. If that's your aim, you should strongly consider a small nap around half way through. You will wake up feeling refreshed and alert, and will make it much easier. One to two hours of sleep won't affect your ability to get max level in under 24 hours.
The next topic to consider is noise and the environment. This is something that not many people can agree on fully, but the basics have been laid out many times. Keeping your light on will help immensely. A dark room will make you sleepy. You will want to simulate daytime as much as possible - so keep those lights on, turn f.lux off, and consider some background noise if that's possible in your situation. The TV is a great way to do this.
For those that like to listen to music while playing games, avoid loud music, and avoid high BPM music. It will only serve to give you a headache and make you lose focus over time. Blasting out metal is great in short bursts, but listening to it for hours on end at high volume is a real drain, especially when trying to concentrate in the middle of the night. Considering listening to WoW's in-game music, or listening to slower, more ambient and downtempo music. If you are a fan of electronic music, Digitally Imported Radio has some great channels to consider: Ambient, Atomospheric Breaks, Psychill, Psybient and Space Dreams are good starting blocks. Deep Tech, Future Synthpop and Glitch Hop can be good at times as well.
All this considered, the most important factor is your health. If you are beginning to feel unwell, dizzy or experiencing prolounged headaches, it may be best for you to sleep. No in-game achievement is worth risking your health for - especially when Legion will be there when you wake up (and likely more stable too!)

Outlaw rogues should take Cannonball Barrage or Killing Spree for Tier 6, and Mark of Death for Tier 7.

Legendary
Falling Flame is another great item to get across zones with goblin glider
Also an addon for making leveling quick is:
ConsLegion
What does it do?
- Skips cutscenes and cinematics
- Shows you where to go with TomTom arrow
- Tells you what to do in a window pop up called "Glaive Window"
- Displays your friends progress and group progress when grouped together doing same quests
- Shares epic or legendary drops in guild chat for people with the addon
- Shows other peoples experience progress in your party

you can't pick up more if you already have the one and you can't buy more if yo have the max.
Exploration: To go where the Game designer thinks you don't know about!
