Dire Maul Arena Farming

I didn't see any topics about this, so here is an easy way to make 100-400g (depending on the drops you get). One thing is though you need to be level 70, or have a group to help you (if your not 70).

This will easily sell anywhere from 250-400g depending on your server (maybe more).

First thing you need to do is head over to Dire Maul, which is located in Feralas for those who don't know. Once your in DM, head over to the arena. If you are lucky one of the three rare spawns will be there. These range from...

Thottbot World of Warcraft: Creature: Mushgog - Mushgog - Level 60 Elite
Thottbot World of Warcraft: Creature: The Razza - The Razza - Level 59-60 Elite

There respawn time is around 6-8 hours. I've also had one spawn right after I killed another one, so it all depends on luck really.

Upon killing them you are guaranteed to get 1-2 blue BOEs. So it's a good place to come if your getting bored of your usual farming spot, as it only takes five minutes to kill the guy. Or keep a character parked here to check for the spawns as it gets annoying having to fly to Feralas and not have the spawn there.

If you're not a well-geared lvl 70 (and by that I mean blues to epics), and have a little skill, you will find killing these elites a challenge. I've seen a 67 warrior and a 70 rogue attempt this and they barely accomplished it. The warrior died and the rogue was at very low heath.
Then a few other alliance ran in and killed the rogue while he was at low HP.

Yeah they're a bit hard. I soloed all of them after a few trys with a BM hunter wearing greens/blues.

i got Skarr to around 15 % with a lvl 56 somthin' max 58 lock xD

I do this all the time... Yet to get an orb tho, but always drops 2 blue boe's.

Im a 70 BM Hunter with mostly blues, and I can do it pretty easily. Only problem is, if youra clothie, you wont be able to kite well because every 15seconds ANY of the spawns there will warp u back to melee range. Makes it a bit tougher.

No, just go to feralas and then run/mount to Dire Maul then you can just jump in the arena and hope to god that they are spawned wait

ive been to arena in the morning then in the afternoon and in the evening then same on thenext day and havent seen a singleboss at arena yet =( i gess im so unlucky

i camped the arena for about 2 hours, the rezza spawned, a full group of alliance ran in in that second (im alliance too) and ganked me like hell. gg.

I think this arena is like STV arena that each 3rd hour it respawns which means (12,15,18,21,24....etc) So if you just go there each 3rd hour (A litte b4 helps so you get it). This is also a place where Black Lotus spawns with one of the Mobs don't know which. I have farmed this place for lotus and BoE stuff as a affli lock very easy (Drain Life ftw).
