Guide: Gold (Dupe 01)

I recently just duped about a 1000 Gold, and this is how you do it, I'm warning you now though, its not easy and only do it once..

Ok what you do is on your account you vendor all your gear, and send all your gold to your friend, then log off and delete your character. Then maybe about one hour later you go on a level 1 character and page a GM saying that you got in a fight with your brother, and he went on your character and deleted it. Give them about 8 hours, and they will restore your character back with all your gold, funny thing is they don’t take away the gold you sent to your friend.

I tested this out with my friend that quit wow, I went on his warrior and vendored all his gear (all might btw) and he had like 1000 Gold, then I sent that gold to my character. One day later he got his character back with the gold and gear, lol at GMs they are total newbie!

Also remember to say it was your brother that did it, if you say someone hacked your account and did it they will close your account for weeks, to investigate it and then you have to call Blizzard to get it back, its a pain. Also blizzard logs your IP, so they will know that you deleted the 60 on the same IP that you were playing the 60 on.

For those that are worried about not getting their character back after you delete it, stop. Blizzard keeps a track of Everyone’s character and you will definitely get your character back, I've deleted so many characters and gotten them back, just don’t do it more then once, and when you do it make sure you dupe like 1000g.

they do log IP's so really dont do it from home or another "usual" ip

EDIT: sry didnt see that about the Brother part... uhm it really depends what kind of mood the gm is in... he can just say, well your own fault for letting ur brother get access to ur account,

The second you mention your account being compromized they freeze it (wearing out whatever subscription you had just paid for.. and not returning it) and require you to send a noterized ID through Fax or Snail mail to blizzard and then they take up to a week deciding if you are actually who your noterized ID says you are. fun stuff.. be careful

I know from personal experience that this is not risky.

there is 100% character restore chance as long as your story is believable.

I have a video of a fully epic'd warlock (and he's rank 14) deleting every single piece of his gear bit by bit. and yes he got his character restored...after ages. (his names drakedog and he's a legendary warlock)

so there is no problem with the character restoration side of it.

Just a thought, could u send ur money from ur 60 character to say a lvl 30 (to make it look believable.) then wait 24hrs for game to register, send the money to a friend and delete that char. That way you wouldnt have to worry about not getting ur main 60 back.

This doesnt work anymore (most of the times) As the GM will restore your char in the state it was deleted, as the second you hit the "delete" button the character is saved, and when restored, its restored from that point.

I have tried this several times, and it always gets restored to the point where it was deleted.

I worry about having my toons deleted permanently :/ Don't wanna risk it...
