[Rogue(and Druid)]1500k a Day, Easy (Mech farming even after new patch)

Hey there

For awhile now, me and my boyfriend have been using this strategy to get up the money for our epic mounts, over the past 3 days we've made roughly 4k gold, and have a lot more coming.

I'm a druid, he's a rogue.

First off, we farm the Mechanar chests, a popular choice for money earning for rogues.

How we do it, since as he says, the money is all in the family, and there's no 50/50 split, I pull the mobs from the chests, ungeared, and die, while he opens them. This way there's no downtime, AND upon checking the test realms, this renders Blizzard's nerf USELESS! Just get a friend to do it

The pulling is done from where the rogue stands, only I stay and let the mobs come to me and kill me, and he stays down by the chest from the very first place.

We vendor any items that sell for more than 8g, and DE the rest (he's an Enchanter)

After our five rounds, we go to Zangarmarsh, and farm Bog Lords and their similar at Quagg Ridge. (http://thottbot.com/c18127/z3521/b) These mobs have a high drop rate for Motes of Life.

I am a 375 Herbalist, so I herb these dead mobs to get even more Motes of Life.

Within two farms (40 minute periods between the "You have entered too many instances recently") we have made about 14-16 Primal Life, plus the 36g from the chests, then the Arcane Dust and Greater Planar Essences. Primal Life, on my server, go for around 10-12g average, and sell quickly.

We usually do this all day, hardcore farming, and are making major, fast money doing it.

Only downside is you may not have or be an herbalist. But you can easily pay someone 5g to disenchant your items for you.

Yeah, you really do. If you have a good friend that is willing to go precisely 50/50 with you, it's a good idea. Other than that, it's impossible to pull off in the new patch.

With the upcoming patch, Mech is gonna be NERFED. The chests are moved slightly to a side, where rogues are unable to get to in time after their vanish, before the mobs return.

You can do it with rogue/rogue too, you just need a sap and a second person.

Nah, they're nerfing it, but the nerf doesnt effect 2 people, as opposed to solo. So you can now duo the chest instead.

Nah - the new chests are placed right by where the mobs cover when you pull them. They immediately go over it when you vanish. : / There's only 1/3 of the chests you can get solo, it's the one in the back right corner, that requires you to jump onto that ledge.

Orrrrrrrr just farm SL chests with two people (one a miner for the adamantite ore)?
Its the only way i do it now, and you can get greens/blues/epics/rare recipes off the mobs you kill to get to the chests. zomg it makes so much sense now!

Blizzard will never ever care about rogues (and the exploits) remember the first vanish bug? Then the second one.. Think it took several mounths for blizzard to change it.

Getting vanish broken by mobs isn't a bug. Stop crying ffs. we can do shit like this and no other class can. Oh, no i got kicked out of vanish and i can't win a fight w/o all my cooldowns. Only bad rogue complain about that. L2P Nerf it so you need a min of 3 to go into a duengon.

tht would be the worse thing blizz could do. MANY ppl duo instances for trash rep(for tht last 10-50 rep u didnt get in the run cuz ur grp skipped stuff) and gearing alts, its also a way to make money. and im not sure where the link is but there was a post on the old blizz forums saying tht running old instaces was a great way to farm for money

besides it would mean tht u would say "zomg finally ppl r gonna L2P blizz got my sugestion" and well ya know i dont want tht head to grow in size lol jkjk
