Old place to Farm some gold, and some items ( from junk to epic ).

The old place in question is Fjorn's Anvil, located in Storm Peaks ( WOTLK area ). Probably many of you know or remember this place but i havent been there since Cata came so i decided ater 2 hours looking for Time-lost Proto drake to go and check it out on my alt DK.

What i found was pretty interesting, there is one mob that spaws 1-3sec after you kill him and since he has only 50k HP he can be killed with one shot ( at least as DK ). I tested it for about 30min total and managed to get about 230g in gold and about 150-200g in green, trash items. Considering todays standards thats not much but if you can make some bot and let it farm while you are afk or sleepng you can net decent amount of gold.

Assuming that you can get about 450g/30min ( i never got a blue drop or rare ) or 900g/hour that will net you some 7k/gold in an 8 hour period or even more depending how lucky you are and how fast can you clear your bag/vendor items.

The mob in question is Stormforged Iron Giant and what i noticed is that he starts spawning AFTER you clear that area of mobs ( inside that forge area ). That might be just in my case but im not 100% sure. Also what i noticed is that if you walk of snowy area into that are "destroyed" by fire he spawns faster. On my best try i manged to kill him more then 45x in 5min and some other mobs that spawn there.

Also i know this is a repost ( used search ) but only "youngest" post was made in 2010 so i thought it should be put here again, Also if i remember right after you do some some quests you get phased and you dont see mobs anymore, so if you dont see them, use alts.

Respawn time is pretty quick, like he said 3-5 seconds, it's a great place to bot.

You could also ACTUALLY play RBGs and WIN them and EARN everything you want. Instead of cheating your way there.

yes, this thing works only if you did not any quests towards Sons of Hodir
