Skin DBM with an Addon

Hey. a few of you may remember my old thread regarding Skinning DBM. it involved replacing some files in the DBM directory.

the method was getting a bit hinky with all the Updates to DBM recently. i was waiting for the day it would stop working.
A guild member of mine makes Addons. i spoke to him about it, and he put this together for me.

I Introduce, DBMskin. it is a Separate addon that hooks into DBM, and modifies its appearance for you.

No GUI yet, but for now it changes the appearance like thus:
(the bar design, not the placement. placement still dictated by DBM.)

EDIT: Yeah. both of these "Addons" you've linked are replacements of the DBT-Template file.

if you looked or read, you'd see this is a completely SEPRATE addon, placed in the Interface/Addons folder that doesnt replace ANYTHING in the DBM folder, meaning you install this, you update DBM as often as you want, however you want, and your bar style is never overwritten.

ElvUI Addon Skins

Not claiming your work isn't original, the concept however, is not.

This addon has been doing the same thing for a while and also creates matching skins for alot of other addons - I guess if you don't like the elvui theme your addon may be better.

Hi there, I found this (finally) after getting tired of replacing my dbm template file so firstly, thanks very much for posting this!
I'd like to increase the height of the timer bar slightly - it's a bit too thin for me to see - so could you point me in the right direction?
I took a look at the DBMskin.lua file and couldn't find the section that resembled "bar height = x".

This a serious reply? I can look through this website with view page source and find 1,000,000,000 lines of copied, templated, and chopped code. I know the mediocre programmers and hackers here think they are doing something epic...but im 28 years old and the original -5ub-Zer0- from the the old school DSH we originated cheat codes being used in online games, which is nothing but memory hacks that have been around since the dawn of PC's....buy a game genie and hack an NES its not any different than today. So while the download is cool this shit was on curse and wowinterface 4 years ago or more...this was around during Wotlk Naxx and with better accessories and a youtube video on how to make your own bars/look with photoshop cs3.

Hi man, how did this worked for me? I downloaded the file and put in the /interface/addons folder and the bars remained the same as original to me....didn't change, in fact I am getting lua error from dbmskin, I wish this could work for me
