Let others farm skyshards for you

​This is common sense, and requires you to be kinda lame.

I can't see blizzard taking action due to this.


Anyways: if you're having exams or for other reasons can't actively farm on your own, you should give this a go. Requires a relatively high-pop realm!


1. Go to the golden lotus daily q hub and inv a friend of you (just ask him/her to stay in the group for a min).
2. Swap to master looting, and set it to epic.
3. Start inviting people who're doing the quests and fly keep refreshing your group as they finish their quests.
4. Profit! Only you will be able to loot skyshards, and you've been afk while others were farming.


-This is very unpopular. People will hate you for it
-People seldom notice loot settings until something fancy drops.
-Upon a skyshard dropping, trust me xD, you'll notice in groupchat (no need to constantly loot stuff).

People wouldn't even realise. I'v been in a party many times while people are doing there dailies..
Infact just today I was doing dailies with 2 other people and the 1 guy got a skyshard

As a lot of people have idontcareiftheygetbanned accounts this can be of some use, since server popularity doesn't matter either then.
Nontheless it's still a scumbag way to get your shards.

People were using this method back when the stone guardians or whatever they were, down in the tomb area that instant spawned. they switched the loot type and just invited everyone that was farming them (they said "to share the tag and not fight over it") but everyone that joined could see the masterloot bag on the group pane. Pretty douche move and didnt really work out for him. Nonetheless, this is the internet, and people will be douches to gain an advantage. thanks for the guide!
