It's pretty good if you farm with a friend and have one person stay on the path. As others have said there is quite a bit of valuable stuff that can drop here. I am very poor and ended up saving everything I found from this farming. I ended up making around 5k just from selling the cloth/greens (people use a lot of these for transmog besides the first mate hat apparently).

10 hours of farming yielded 1 bird, 2 first mate hats, 1 razz hatchling, and 5k in greens/cloth

Still no luck with the pet here yet but I've got an awful lot of cloth, rare recipes and really nice transmog including a few of the Glimmering mail pieces so my farming hasn't been fruitless

Not sure how long I've been farming for total, probably roughly 5 hours. I tend to stay for an hour and then come back when I'm feeling refreshed. Great location though and good to see it's working for lots of people :3

Farm a few hours, nothing ....

i have used a setting of 3 shamane (Multibox) Button 1 "next target" button 2 "Chain Lightning"
If you Stand on spot one behind de barrel and crates you get every mob in target, so it´s only
1 & 2 to smash on keyboard,... and loot times to times... it's a kinda boring.
clear nearly all spots and get instant respawn ... real instant respawn

Just a few tips for you guys. If big camp ain't spawning you must clear those 2 groups on path. I use 16k g Traveler's Tundra Mammoth to sell junk, also got engineering item MOLL-E to send greens and cloths to my bank just to speed things up. As well I tend to come here like an hour before STV Arena to loot the chest. I'm using a rogue just spamming Fan of Knifes. Good luck farming
Also I forgot to mention to go check every few hours for Scale Belly which has a chance to drop Chromatic Sword, probably the most expensive and rarest item in-game.

Uploaded a video a while ago about this spot. It's without AoE looting but the tactic is the same. However I suggest you go with 2 players, it's instant respawns that way.

This is a legit spot which I've farmed for a while, my brother also farms it and found the parrot within 4 minutest while recording which can be found here;
