this reminds me of the time i was holding a gambling ring and advertising it in trade chat. i had alot of gold at the time and was limiting bets to 100g each, but i gave MUCH better odds for the gambler, even odds so good that they were in favor to win. most of the players though, were so apprehensive to gamble they either whispered me saying i was going to be reported or they would gamble once for 100g and then quit.

my odds were something like 1-60 you win, 70-80 we break even and 80-99 i will and 100 you win triple. and people were scared to take those odds.

That must been back in the days when 1,000g actually was something, if you got 10,000g now your considered "Broke" :P
