Tutorial on how to remove Joanas 1-70 protection / trackers

The tools that i did use

Browser:
Mozilla Firefox
~ Addons:
FireBug
DownThemAll
Editor:
Notepad++

Chapter 1 : Getting the Text

1) Open Joanas Guide after you opened it in FifeFox press on the gree small circle in the bottom right site and you will see
a windows pops-up from the bottom like in the 1st picture

2) Right click on <html> and select "Copy HTML" like in 2nd picture

3) Open Notepad++ (you can use other editor that you like) and paste the text

4) select 2nd code line like in 3rd picture (you must click the left side of the editor where it says "2" that way the 2nd code line will be selected) and press "Delete" you will remove all the encoded java guide (For notepad++ in Language tab select HTML and then go to TextFX tab and do "TextFX > TextFX HTML Tidy > Tidy" a dialog will popup just press ok it will auto areinge the html)

5) Find and remove the following texts

also it's best to change the title to something other if you are planing to share this copy on the web

6) some basic changes , we will change some links like MetaMap FlashMap Talant Build links, find

(this will be around line 87-89)

(please note that НТТР://www.joАnАsworld.com/docs/№№/ is a tracker link)

and change it to

now find

(this will be around line 10834-10836 )

and change it to

7) removing useless links , find all links liks that start http://www.joАnАsworld.com and remove them cuz you will not need them and remove only 1 link at the bottom "НТТР://www.joАnАguides.com/valkor.php"

images , find all НТТР://images.sРugnorТ.net/joАnА/guidЕ/№№/ and select that text and press the "Replace" button in the "Find what" windows you will see the selected text and in the "Replace whit" type in "img" and then press "Replace All"

9) Fixing the guide links, ok here is what i do, i open a new document (in notepad++ a blank tab) and a clikc the link and look where it will lead me like there are 2 links like:

i copy the 1st link to a blank tab
then i go to
НТТР://www.joАnАguides.com/№№/SomeCodeA.php?4842
and see that it does take me to
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=4842
and same whit 2nd link

and i write donw like

НТТР://www.joАnАguides.com/№№/SomeCodeA.php?
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=

НТТР://www.joАnАaguides.com/№№/SomeCodeB.php?
http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=

then i copy "http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest="
and go to guide tab and select the text "НТТР://www.joАnАguides.com/№№/SomeCodeA.php?" and i press the "Replace" and in the "Replace Whit" i paste "http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=" and press "Replace all" note that there are more then just 2 "НТТР://www.joАnАguides.com" link and all lead to other sites or to same but the "SomeCode" is different so you will have to lookup all your self

Chapter 2 : Getting the Images

1) You will need to copy the images from non-edited html file like above , now note in a bad copy of the guide or on the original you cannot copy any text or right click anything so now we must runs in FireFox a download manager called "DownThemAll"

2) In FireFox go to tab "Tools > DownThemAll > DownThemAll..."

3) Goto "Pictures and Embedded" and select "All files" scroll to buttom , un-cheack the stat-counter , select folder to save in (cuz i did replace the "НТТР://images.sРugnorТ.net/joАnА/guidЕ/№№/" to "img" the folder must be named img and that folder must be in the same directory whit the guide for
example : Guide.html img

press "Start!"

PS: if you will host it on the site make a "Robots.txt" file and wright the in

User-agent: *
Disallow: /

and put some login and passes on the server :P

I am kind of wondering the same thing what exactly will they do with your ip? I got a copy of the guide off this site it was just a file I downloaded and opened up with adobe reader or something. They claimed the tracker or whatever had been removed but idk...
