How to get 2 characters boosted to 80 with scroll of ressurection

Hey guys
so i recently accepted my scroll of ressurection to go back to WoW...while accepting the scroll i boosted my rogue to lvl 80..when i logged on i saw that my rogue still was lvl 13 so i made a ticket and asked a gm if it was possible to boost my dk instead, since the boost didnt seem to work.

Guess what he did it....what i didnt know is that the boost will only be effected once you actually log your char...so while he was still shown lvl 13 on login screen my rogue got the boost as soon as i logged him...so did my dk

Gl if ure trying to copy it (Just remember to NOT log onto the char u boosted on battle.net page before u pm the gm)

I think that might be interesting when Blizz finds out about this little trick. Imagine hundreds of boosted chars that have already been leveled to 85 that might get set back to LVL 1 or whatever they were before the boost.

Blizzard can not set back levels. The worst they would do is delete your character (highly unlikely), but they would possible just temp ban you

They CAN but it's very unlikely.

Didn't AtheneWins get set back to 70 upon reaching lvl 79 and 99/100% because he was Instance boosting to become the very first 80?

Ah, my mistake, sorry. I guess the GM's don't have power to do it then, or they just say they don't, as eveyr GM I've ever talked to has said they will not set back levels.

If you are a GM wouldn't it be an easy crime to dupe your items on your personal account and get away with it. Some of my heirlooms got duped once when I thought I deleted them then I contacted a GM and he sent them in the mail and I found them in my bank lol. Another occasion was when I got hacked and the GM sent me all my stuff twice. So I got my crusader trophy duped back in wotlk and other stuff. So It is possible for GM's to dupe. Do you think any GM's dupe for their personal accounts? sorry. sort of off topic but you guys started talking about GM's

EDIT: Sorry, was linked here from an exploit thread, no such rule from what I see in the guides section.
To respond to OverLordErIcH, GMs are very carefully watched and doubt they'd risk the nice benefits of working for Blizzard for personal gain, but I'm sure it happens.

I tried this and this was the GMs response:

Greetings,

I wasn't able to speak with you while you were online, but I wanted to follow up with you in regards to your ticket.

When you apply the promotion rewards it attempts to complete any faction changes or transfers first and then applies the boost after you login on the new server or faction.

If you applied the rewards to the incorrect character we can look at transferring them for you but it would result in the character they were previously applied to being permanently deleted.

If you find you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to let us know and we will work with you to address them.
