Rogue Epic Farming

As a Rogue I wanted to farm epic mount quick and easy. It took me about 2 weeks but you can do it alot faster.

Step 1: Primal Farming.
Step 2: Mechanar Chests
Step 3: Auctioning.

Step 1:
Primal Fire and Air may be the most expensive primals but the competition is really tough on my server. I looked on to Mana farming.

In Netherstorm at about 45.71 there are a bunch of mobs that drop mana motes. Start from the north corner (43.69) and move to the south (44.74). Great drop rates if you're lucky but keep trying.

Step 2:
This is what rogues are meant to do. Make sure you don't have lag when attempting this. Take off all your gear too. My gear consists of a nub weapon for sapping, thrown for pulling, and [Dark Leather Gloves] which increases lockpicking by 5 skill points. I believe required Lockpick skill is 350. Chests contain 6-7g, green weapon/armor, occasional scroll/potion, and a gem. Most BoE blues are found in chests so hope you're lucky. My average repair bill is 4s. You can only do this method about 5-6 times per hour. If you wait long enough you can do this all day. Approximately 60-80g per hour.

Step 3:
I created a bank alt since it takes alot of time to the AH and back to Netherstorm. (Unless you set hearth to netherstorm). IF and SW have AH and mailboxes within distance but Exodar has the shortest walking time between Mailbox and AH. Also if you want to you can download CTMailMod. It includes mass mailing which means you can send up to 28 items at once and all 1 postage bill.

On my server Primal Mana's sell for 13-20g.

-Overview-
All in all you should have you epic mount soon if you work hard.

Slight calculation based on my server.
20 Primals x 14g = 280g
Mechanar Farming = 60-80g + greens/gems/blues
Gray loot = Approximately 60g for 20 Primals.
So estimated 400-500g a day.

Well CTMailmod don't reduce posting bill, if you use it you'll see that the price goes up for every item you put there, but however it's a really nice mod that saves you lots of time posting stuff. It's great when you've been out questing for some houers and come back with lots of AH stuff to mail to your bank char. Anyways, nice guide!

Well, seeing as this post is for an epic flier...

Also. Simply dinging 60 and grinding marks won't work. You still need to buy the skill, which is the expensive part of all of them.

The Chests are inside the instance Mechanar, which is located at Tempest Keep in NetherStorm, and yes, you do need a flying mount to get there

i did this 12+- times. i kinda had some problems at start forgetting saps etc but it's going smooth atm in 12 times i got 10 greens - 9gems - 2 blue's - 90g~ and 10potions!
