PvE Pally Burst Damage

I figure this would work good with any pally, but holy would probably be the best, considering the spell damage boost.

Anyway, requirements
-Paladin
-Level 20+
-Fast fingers

Okay, what you do, is cast exorcism, and spam hand of reckoning while casting. If you do it right, both will hit at the same time, causing you to do lots of damage instantly(At my level, around 320, without crits). I'm level 22 fighting level 19 mobs atm for a quest, and I just figured this out. It works perfectly. I'm killing whelps almost instantly. If there's any problems, I can probably upload a video to youtube as proof. Enjoy pallies.

When a frost mages target gets frozen they usually do - Frostbolt (spamming Deep Freeze/Icelance)

Yeah, but the thing is, if you casted hand of reckoning, and then exorcism, it'd take longer, and you'd have a longer downtime once you get hit a few times. This way, it's instant.

Make a macro, when you get the art of war talent:

/cast exorcism
/cast hand of reckoning

replace your exorcism button with this when soloing. Don't use it with groups.

Hijacking this useless thead it would be better to make a macro like this:

/cast hand of reckoning
/cast exorcism

HoR is off the GCD so you only have to press it once and it casts both spells. Unless you're a retard who runs up to a mob before using ranged abilities. Once Exorcism goes off the mob will be in judge range but not melee range so by the time you judge them, it'll just be reaching melee range meaning you didn't have to move at all.

When I lvled a pally we didnt have hand of reckoning and exorcism was only for UD Good tip If I ever do though

lol HoR needs it's damage removed completely. Currently working on a lvl 50 druid tank through the random system. I cannot tell you the number of arguments i've had in the past 2-3 weeks with dumbass retadins confusing HoR as a DPS move.

You use it only when soloing, while running to a mob/pulling a mob.

It will cast HoR first, this is important so that it works whether or not you have Art of War not (instant exorcisms). The reasoning is that your reckoning only does dmg if their not already attacking you; being the first to cast obviously takes care of this. The exorcism will be instant if you have AoW procs while moving, otherwise it's a cast and you can make up your own mind how to use it effectively.

Also of note, the same macro can be used to take care of anyone that's running away from you (Reckoning procs on them, as they are considered 'fleeing').

Who cares, anyway? With the way things are so easy these days, just herd everything in sight and aoe them down. Drop a consecrate, turn auto attack on, and start healing yourself. They'll be dead in less then 2 consecrates.

Well, it's of course common sense, which we are talking here. But, I remember the time HoR used to crit for 2k (don't know why) in level 60 x). But as said up there, first getting Exo/HoR in, then judgement other skills and praying for Art of War proc ^^
