First things first: Open World of Warcraft and log into your character.

Alright, lets start.

In the top right corner of your screen, you should have some options, close to your clock (note this is NOT in WoW, it is somewhere that isn't full screen, like your desktop.

Click this button:



Something like this will pop up:



Click "turn airport off".

Go back to your wow screen, you will notice everyone, including Npc's have stopped moving. Look at any buffs you may have, they will stay at a zero duration.

This can be quite handy for many thing and, if your quick, you can have unlimited Rocket Boots.

Reconnecting is simple. go back to the signal button, click it, and select "turn airport on."

Make sure that you do this within one or two minutes, or when you reconnect you will be Dc'ed and will be put back where you started.

Kinda common sense really. Turn off and on your internet connection. Works with all computers, there is just different ways to turn it off.
