Herod Solo: The Quick Way

Are you farming Herod or his trainees for some reason? To get to his room super fast while skipping most of the other mobs, you will need...

-A Level 70 (Any class works; I discovered this on a priest)
-Invisibility Potions(Not the lesser variety)

First, run in an kill you way through the armory courtyard. The fastest way is to use the sides. When you get to the first half of the armory, the mobs are positioned in such a way that you can manuever around them(as a 70) without any aggro. When you go up the stairs to the second half, go through the first room since the mobs are like those of the first half and when you stand before the second room, use an invisibility potion and run to the short tunnel thing that leads to the final hall to the final room. Kill your way through those and you will be at the final room about 5 times as fast as you would be if you killed everything!

Why would a lvl 70 solo-farm herod? And seriously, you can walk right up next to the mobs in there without having them aggro.

Kill the first 2 ones & run directly to Heroid. Simple, eh?

Use two invisibility potions, voila.

Farming Herod is useful because the Blue he drops disenchants into Small Radiant Shards = Gold. =)
You don't even need Invisibility Pots, Pre-BC I could just kill the first two mob and run to Herod at 60.

Step 1: lvl a hunter to 70; Step 2: run all the way to the last hallway; Step 3: feign death; Step 4: kill last hallway; Step 5: kill herod; Step 6: put down an explosive trap (i think thats the AoE one) after all those guys come in and start attacking so they all get hit at once, the first time i did (lvl 51, but 70 is pretty much the same) everysingle one of them died the instant it went off

you dont need potions if your a 70 you wont aggro :S

I could run to herod at lvl 60 without agroing a thing.

as a mage. i walked around most the mobs and blinked through the big groups. didn't aggro a thing. cost? free
