WoW's Pirates' Day guide!

If you did check your WoW ingame calendar you will see that at Sep 19 there is a event called Pirates' Day! :wave:

In the real world on this day (September 19th) is the annual "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" so some bored Blizzard workers make this little ingame event for us. There are there is 1 CHEESEMENTS for this event! Also so far I can see not even a copper of reward or quests.....

So what can you do on this day?? Well.....

"The Dread Captain DeMeza has pulled into Booty Bay and declared it Pirate's Day!"

All over the towns there will be npcs running around with Pirate hats! When you talk to them and choose "I'd like to dress like a pirate". and they will buff you with Pirate costume for 1 hour and unlike other costumes player characters' sex and race are preserved by the illusion and they do not go out when you get killed so lots of fun in battleground!

Yeah I know what you thinking! hey but that is not all what will be going on on Pirate Day...

Head down to Booty Bay:

Visiting and sharing a drink with DeMeza there will give you the Dread Corsair buff what is pretty much the same as the one above, but it lasts for 12 hours! And you get the only cheesement!!

There is also some scripted stuff going on every few minutes.... You can meet 2 brand new npc's called Cap'n Slappy and Ol' Chumbucket!

There will be a pirate-themed music when you go on the Booty bay roofs!

Into the bay there will fire cannons at the boat!

I have just done the achievement as it is now active.

For anyone looking, the npc is on the roof above the bank in Booty Bay, accessible via a ramp next to the flight master.

Simply talk to "Dread Captain DeMeza" and have a drink, the achievement is complete - Congratulations!
