**** WARNING! THIS METHOD MIGHT GET YOU BANNED ****
**SCREENSHOTS ADDED.**
This guide is aimed at people in the levelrange 58-70, but can be used from as low as 53 to as high as 73-74 probably.
(might not be very efficient however)
Introduction:
Right, I suppose many of you have read the exploit about the mobs that are at siege with valgarde keep.
Check it out here.
Anyway, as you would know from reading the guide, these mobs don't give exp depending on how much damage you deal to them,
but rather at which percentage their health is currently at, when you tag them.
Now, the idea of this guide is to make use of that while being afk.
STEP 1:
Download Autoclicker.
You can get it at ShockingSoft, © by Shocker, 2008.
Set it up any way you like, it doesn't really matter that much.
If you're gonna use auto-attack like a wand/bow/gun etc. you might want to increase the click interval
to a more suitable number, like 1500-2500 milliseconds, so you actually get your shots away.
In the picture, the click interval is set to 1300, but when using a bow/gun etc. find that a bit too slow.
Change it to whatever fits you best.
STEP 2:
Get some noggenfogger (unless you're a mage).
Run up on the cliffs on the west side of valgarde, along the road next to the inn and citywall.
When you get in a good enough position, consume noggenfogger until you get the slow fall effect.
Now mount up and jump towards the nearest cannontower.
Up here you should be rather safe from the mobs, unless you aggro them before guards do.
This is where I jump from.
This is where I stand.
STEP 3:
Make a macro.
Something like this would work:
/assist Valgarde Defender
/cast shoot
Another alternative would be to put one of the guards on focus and use:
/assist [target=focus]
/cast shoot
The good thing with this macro is that you won't risk targeting some random guard 100 ft away.
The downside is that you will only attack one guards targets.
Now we don't want to take any damage, since we might not be at the computer to keep track of our HP.
That's why we'll only assist the guards, so that they get initial aggro.
This is what my macro looks like.
STEP 4:
Put your macro on one of your actionbars, and start autoclicker.
Tip:
#You should refrain from using this at peak hours, since it is bannable and people might report you.
#This works for both horde and alliance.
#Adjust the click interval to whatever suits your weapon best. 1500 is perfect for me, but you might find it too fast or too slow. Tweak a little!
#You might want to use an attack with as long range as possible, or you will end up getting alot of "too far away" messages.
#If you start using this at a low level, you might want to get some gems/items/enchants to buff your hit rating, since you will miss alot otherwise.
#In some cases, you might want to get a low level weapon, so that you dont overaggro the guards.
#Even if you shouldn't get aggro by this method, there's always the risk that you do. You might overaggro or you might just get in their aggro range before the guards pick em up. So if you do this as a mage/priest/shaman, it might be nice to change the macro slightly so it looks like this instead:
/assist [target=focus]
/cast Ice Barrier (earth shield, power word shield, etc.)
/cast shoot
This will rebuff ice barrier or your defensive spell of choice every time the cooldown on this spell is up.
This should make you stay alive until the mob you got aggro on resets.
I suppose you could add potions or healthstones to the macro aswell, since they won't be consumed unless you take damage.
Many different ways to tweak the macro I suppose.
Note. I was planning on putting it to a test for an hour and see how much exp I'd get,
but I got bored after 15 minutes since there wasn't anything good on TV lol.
Anyhow, during those 15 minutes I got about 60k exp on a lvl 70 rested toon.
This works like a charm, even at lvl 70.
