[truly] Detailed gear guide for Raiding as a Rogue

Recently, I've discovered a game called World of Warcraft. It has taken the world by storm, starting with anyone who calls themselves gamers to casual people that are looking for a good time. You absolutely can't miss this sensation. Right now, I'm going to go over an in-depth guide over the recommended equipment that you should use if you wish to get into Raiding for the Rogue class.
There are many different types of equipment that are great in certain situations, and that's exactly what I'm for. I'm going to tell you exactly what type of equipment you should use depending in the situation, starting with the weapons, then onto the many types of armors, and then on to the accessories! Without further ado
    !

    Weapons- Swords
Reaper of Dark Souls- a one-handed sword, which has a damage range of 281-422. It adds on +24 stamina, however it requires lvl 80, as well as the Knights of the Ebon Blade-Revered. When equipped, this weapon improves hit rate by 33, improves critical strike rate by 26, and increases damage from attacks by 66.
Ymiron's Blade- a one-handed and it does 218-406 damage. It adds on +29 agility and +30 stamina, it requires level 78. When equipped, it improves critical strike rating by 19, and it increases attack power by 60.
The Fang of Truth- a one-hand sword with a 126-234 damage range. It gives +32 agility and +29 stamina with a level requirement of 78, it requires the Wyrmrest Accord-Honored, as well. When equipped, it improves hit rate by 33 and increases attack strength by 48. Honestly, the damage is a bit low for me, but it can be useful if you lack hit.
Meathook's Slicer- a one-hand sword with a 134-250 damage range. It adds +29 agility and +24 stamina, with a level requirement of 78. When equipped, it increases your damage by 60 and increases armor penetration rating by 22. Another weapon with low attack power, but the armor penetration bonus is nice.

    Weapons- Daggers

Libarian's Paper Cutter- a one-hand dagger with a damage range of 135-203. It adds +25 stamina with a level 80 requirement. When equipped, it improves critical strike rating by 26 and improves haste rating by 46. For Mutilate, you can dual-wield these without any problems.
Lightblade Rivener- a one-hand dagger with a 134-202 damage range. It adds +29 agility and requires level 78. When equipped, it improves haste rating by 30 and increases attack power by 58.
Life Blade of Belganstrasz- a one-hand dagger with a damage range of 172-259. It adds +29 agility and +24 stamina with a level 78 requirement. When equipped, it improves hit rate by 20 and increases your damage dealt by 56.
The Ritualistic Athame- a one-hand dagger with a 134-202 damage range. It adds +29 agility with a level requirement of 78. When equipped, it improves haste rating by 30 and increases attack strength by 58.
The Saronite Shiv- a one-hand dagger with a 122-183 damage range. It has a level requirement of 76. When equipped, it improves hit rate by 55, increases your expertise rating by 20, and increases your attack by 56.
The last of the daggers is two different daggers with the exact same stats, the one you use depends on if your race belongs to the Alliance or the Horde. For the Hordes, the dagger is called the Warsong Shanker, for the Alliance, it's called the Vanguard Soldier's Dagger. It's one-handed and has a 111-207 damage range. It adds +27 agility and +36 stamina with a level 78 requirement. It requires, either, the Horde Expedition or the Alliance expedition, depending on race. When equipped, it increases attack power by 40.

Alright, that's the list of some of the best equips for raiding! Most of the gears in this list are obtained by crafting, quest-rewards, or normal monster drops! I know that most of the equipment listed here are very hard to get, but the rewards are well worth it! Just remember, if you can get some of the lesser recommended equipment to get started and work your way up, you'll be up there with the best in no time! I hope this guide helps a lot in your World of Warcraft missions as a Rogue!

    My eyes hurt.

So basically all you did was name some items to and tell us the stats?

You arent going to be able to raid with these, as most of them are blues.
Try throwing some naxx 10 gear in there maybe?

I would find this would be most suitable to people who just bought or had an 80 rogue powerleveled for them, not something they've been leveling on their own.

Almost anyone whose leveled an 80 rogue should know the basics of rogue gear, how to find upgrades, and what stats they should be looking for.

Any information they would be missing would be things such as: Hit Cap (white dmg MH, White dmg OH, Special attacks), Expertise Cap, etc.

You also said you would give details as to situational use, which you did not. You just copied the info from the items and pasted them here. Not really a guide, more just a statistics page.

Also, you didn't provide any links to gear, which would have been more useful than just typing in bigger font in so many colors that an epileptic go into seizure.

And as Jesperk pointed out, copying pasting isn't a great idea.
That guide was posted in JANUARY '09. You've been a member of this site since November of '07. EVEN if you 'work' for that site, this is a HORRIBLE excuse for a guide.
