[Guide] Max out the later Engineering levels, free!

Hello all,
This is my first attempt at getting out of leecher status. As many of you know, Engineering is quite a pain to level up and very expensive towards the end. I, However, have found a way to get the last levels free. The only requirement is good social skills.

350-375 Engineering: Basically, all you have to do is find a 'new' level 70-72 and offer to make them a Hardened Khorium Scope. This is obsolete now as the mats are usually not on the AH.

435-450 Engineering:

1. Find a new level 80 (you can tell by the type of gear/ guild they're in)
2. Offer them a Gnomish Swiss Army Knife. Here is where your social skills come in. You're going to want to make them think that it will
save them tons of bagspace and reduce their farming time
3. Make THEM pay for the mats, all the while saying what a good deal they'd be getting.
4. Profit. Maybe even a tip :P

gnomish army knifes are on my server for 1g each.

and the scope....like 3g.

and mats cost more than that much to make.

Could you please tell me how to improve my future guides? I think that this is a relevant topic as it really helped me level my engineering.

Nothinglol, it could just be your server, but on mine there are none on the AH. I have sucessfully maxed out engineering with this

Yeah... Today I confirmed again on my friend's toon, it took about 2 hours for 20 engie levels, cost me nothing. It must just be your server

I'm hoping I got this wrong.

You sat around for 2 hours to trick\lie to newbs?

Would that time not be better off farming, and buying the mats? I know I can make over 500g in 2 hours, and thats with 20g/stack for saronite in the ah. That's a low number just to prove a point.
