    [Mac] PocketGnome Multi-Botting!!!!!

Wow... Today is a great day for PocketGnome... I had a light bulb turn on in my head after reading "thesyskokidd" post about how to "background bot"

As many of you know, with OS 10.5.6, Background botting was not really possible.... BUT, if you use thesyskokidd's method, you can background bot again. More or less, you will be running 2 OS accounts at the same time... Here is a copy & paste of his guide.

    Go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES

    GO to ACCOUNTS

Create a new account Named PG, or whatever. Make it an admin account.

    Enable FAST USER SWITCHING

RUN WoW and Pocket GNOME from this new account.

Once the bot is cruising along, fast-switch to your main account.

Viola! You are now 100% "backgound" botting.
But now you are asking, "But how do I Multi-Box now????"

You are able to run a copy of WoW on each OS account, as well as an independent copy of PocketGnome on each account... So more or less, you are able to now Multi-Box using PocketGnome.

    Guide:
    - Follow the above mentioned "thesyskokidd's guide to background botting", to set up 2 OS accounts
    - On the second account, you will run WoW (should be found in your Applications)
    - You may need to redownload PocketGnome on the new OS account (since mine was stuck in my download folder)
    - Run WoW
    - Set up PocketGnome (you will NOT have any Routes / Behaviors the first time you set it up)
    - Voila!!! You are now 100% "Multi-Botting"

(*Note* theysyskokidd is a PocketGnome forum user, props go to him for the background bot guide. I am the original author for the Multi-Botting Guide)

Hmm nice, I think they are fixing the background stuff in 10.5.7 whenever that comes out.

I actually haven't botted with PG in a very long time, I could maybe start again.. but idk, not sure if I want to risk it since I recently got suspended for taking stuff from a guild bank that seemed to be too much.

Hopefully when 3.1 of WoW comes out Gnome Overlord will be able to re-code it and fix it soon, also the queue from anywhere feature will make BG leeching soooo much easier!! No more battlemaster stuff hehe.

    EDIT:

RaF is actually really really easy with a friend. Just one of you need to have a 70-80 char and just run instances like crazy. I got 60 in 23 hours and I wasted time dueling, spells, etc.

I'm sadly the "loner" type of WoW player... I may need to try that out some time though, I've been wanting to get a horde mage leveled up....

your title serves you well... PocketGnome is well known as it is.. It's been flaunted on MMOwned and other various sites...

Hell, google "Mac WoW Bot"... Look what the top result is...

    Go flame elsewhere.

Um, wow I hate trolls. Pocket Gnome is HIGHLY sophisticated, it is more functional than a lot of these pay for and unattractive bots for Windows.

But seriously, don't troll here, this is a discussion about multi-boxing with a botting program for Mac.

Regardless, botting will ALWAYS run a risk of getting banned... regardless of this post, i can guarantee Blizzard already knew about PocketGnome...
